Roberto, my praetor

 I am proud to dedicate this last blog to Mr. Roberto Alejandro Garfias Salinas. 

 I would like to mention my 2 great reasons for admiration for the great Roberto (the second is my favorite).  The first is that I admire his leadership and vocation in the forestry area, as my friend Ignacio Antihuala would say: "He slaps himself"

The second and most important for me is that we share the same passion, THE CONVERSE. Since I arrived at the university I realized that a fundamental piece of Roberto's outfit are these great sneakers. Plus it has them in different colors!!!

In fact, I am very sad not to find a photo of Roberto wearing the fantastic and classic ones Converse. but at least I leave you a photo of me where I wear them on my feet, being a fundamental part of that black outfit

  

Speaking a little about Roberto, he was born in the capital city. He works as a Forest Engineer and obtained this profession at the glorious University of Chile in 1994. From a very young age he showed his love for forests and ecosystems. In 2001 he obtained a master's degree in Agroforestry, at the Autonomous University of Chapingo in Mexico.

This person has contributed significantly in the forest area serving as a teacher and presenting projects. Some of them are Proposal for the Forest Management Plan Close to Nature in Roble-Raulí-Coigue. (between the years 2010/2011) and the other: Phytogeographic study of Mediterranean plant landscapes affected by forest fires. (between the years 2009/2011)

MY FAVORITE FOOD

 to tell the truth, I can't decide on my favorite food. There are many delicious foods that I love but there are two that win all the prizes, these are the Pizza and the Completo. Pizza is known all over the world so there is not much to say. and it can have many ingredients, although the most important and common are cheese and tomato sauce. the complete one is better known in the world as "Hot Dog" although in my country there is a very peculiar and delicious way of preparing it, it has avocado, tomato and a sausage called Viennese although this can be replaced by another higher quality protein. on these ingredients it has dressings like ketchup or mayo. 

I like them a lot because when I eat them I really enjoy them and I have memories of my childhood. These foods in excess can be very harmful to health (like everything) so we must be careful and not eat them so often.

My favorite piece of technology

 Without a doubt my favorite piece of technology is headphones. I think it is my favorite device because I use it every day and for several hours, I really enjoy listening to music with them and watching series and movies. They are great and very easy to use, I just connect them via bluetooth to my cell phone and I can start listening. The best thing is that I only recharge them once a week and they are very comfortable, they also have noise cancellation which means that I don't hear or very little what is happening around me and it also takes care of my ears because it means that I don't use the volume too much high.

I believe that in how it affects my life there are many more benefits than bad things. The main one is that it makes me very happy to listen to music and transport myself with great Argentine rock songs. It also allows me to concentrate to study since I don't hear what's going on around me. Perhaps the only "bad" thing is related to the latter and that is that on the street it can be dangerous since it does not allow me to be 100% attentive to my surroundings and I could be hit by a car.

I recommend using headphones and enjoying good music!!

My university career

I am currently studying forest engineering at the Universidad de Chile, I chose this career because I like the idea of working in the south of the country and at the same time having an active participation with the sustainability, flora and fauna of the country.

My dream job when I was a child was to be a soccer player, little by little this dream turned into a hobby and today I really enjoy it.

Other options that I took into account when choosing my career was psychology, because I am a person who really likes the humanities (a couple of years ago I would never have thought that I would study engineering) and within the humanities careers I was the one that most I liked it, in fact it was my first choice over forestry.

The day of the results I received the news that I did not enter psychology and that I was on the waiting list. At that time I was in the Torres del Paine National Park and I felt that it was a great sign to be in that wonderful place surrounded by nature and to have the opportunity to study a career related to it.

My experience at the university has been quite entertaining and has given me new experiences and challenges. I hope the next few years are just as great.

MY BIOGRAPHY

Cristian Carrillo was born on September 27, 2003 in Chile, Santiago.

He currently lives in Quilicura with his parents and his dog, Harry, who is someone very important to him.

From a very young age he has shown a great passion for soccer, which was instilled by his grandfather.

He currently plays for the university team, where he is very happy and spends much of his time.

At this moment he is in his second year of forestry engineering, where he made good friends and enjoys his university degree very much. Although sometimes the routine is exhausting, he tries to stay focused.

She is my gilfriend Mili, she is great and she is a person with incredible energy and a great adventure companion. She is someone very special to me.

My two great idols in life are Juan Roman Riquelme And Felipe  Avello, they are people who handle cunning and satire perfectly
